With a lowest height of 25cm, this increases safety and reduces the risk for people who are prone to falling out of bed. Preventing fall injuries without the use of side rails, and even allows shorter clients to place both feet safely on the floor when getting to a standing position

ErgoMove technology

The ErgoMove technology has been specifically designed to bring the client from a lying position to an active sitting position comfortably, with a push of a button. The active position promotes client function, such as eating, drinking and reading.

Up-and-Out

Up-and-Out feature can be used with a simple push of a button, to bring the bed to a safe height for transferring in and out of bed. The movement mimimises movement and support independence and mobilisation.

Hand control

Designed with the most frequently used buttons in easily identifiable colours.

NordBed Ultra is available in a variety of modern bed end styles, wood finishes and painted surfaces. Depending on the need and personal taste, NordBed Ultra can be configured with side panels, side rails and more.

Optimised dimensions of mattress support

Length of the mattress sections has been optimised to accommodate for average adult anthropometric body measurements, (back of pelvis to knee crease) allowing the profiling sections to fit to and support 95% of the average adult population.

Optional Anti-trendelenburg and Trendelenburg

Support care staff when repositioning the client in bed, and can be easily used to adjust and redistribute pressure.

Under bed light

Supporting fall prevention the NordBed Optimo is available with an under bed light, reducing the risk of falls during the night.
